This week I was waiting for a new collet I ordered to arrive in the mail, so I spent most of the week doing cleaning jobs around the shop in preparation for the end of the year.

During the start of the week, I was reading an article sent to me by my teacher on timer interrupts, to try to implement a way to average out my accelerometer reading. Eventually I decided that this solution was too much work, and settled on just ordering a new collet, instead of trying to use the one I have, which is slightly bent. I had ordered collets previously, but they were way too small and I wasn't able to use them. I ordered this new collet(hopefully) with the proper dimensions too fit the motors I'm using. In a previous post, I was able to use collets to make a vibration-less prototyope, so I hope to recreate this when the new collets arrive next week.

I spent Wednesday and Thursday doing a couple cleaning tasks, such as taking all the scraps from our material stock and sorting it by material. I also organized the shelf of drill bits and catalogued the sizes we have and how many we have of each. This is so we know how many to order in order to have a full stock next year.

On friday I built a very simple stand to put my phone on while I work, but forgot to take photos of it before I brought it home with me.
