This week I spent testing out my new socket for my flywheels, which I 3d printed. The socket had 3 holes where the mounting screws will go on the motor. The idea is that I can use the socket as a guide to drill new holes into the flywheels, and be able to make a perfectly balanced flywheel that can be screwed directly into the motor.

Unfortunately, I made the diameter of the socket just 0.05 inches to big, but it gave enough wiggle room for it to be unreliable, and I can't use it on the drill press. I will have to reprint it slightly smaller and use that to drill

I also did some mero work on my CAD model for the new Gimbal Rig. My idea is to have the rig suspended in the chassis off the ground, so that the motors can swivel freely, and I can use the floorspace of the chassis to store my PCB, battery and other electronic parts.
